Wasabi Sushi is one of Boise’s top sushi hotspots, and quickly being recognized as the best sushi in town. We are a small, family-owned business providing the beautiful Boise area with high-quality Japanese cuisine. We are open 7 days week and operate both a lunch shift and a dinner shift. We are looking for hard-working individuals with a positive attitude who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a flexible schedule that can accommodate multiple shifts that may vary from week to week (mainly due to covering shifts for sick coworkers, etc.)
• PUNCTUALITY. Servers must arrive early before a shift begins to set up the store for opening.
• Must have previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant setting (at least 1 year).
• Good working attitude, people skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations during busy hours.
• Desire to provide customers with the best dining experience possible (i.e. be clean, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable).
• Food handling/TIPS certification is a plus.
• Weekend availability is a plus, but we are looking for someone who can work at least 3 weekday evening shifts (e.g. Tuesday - Thursday 4:30pm - 9:30pm).

Wages:

• Base pay for servers will align with state policies for Tipped Employees ($4/hr + tips)
• Our servers average between $20-30/hr on normal weekdays; busy nights can average between $30-40/hr.
