Our Evansville, IN, location is part of our Meat division, and creates various breading, batter, and coating blends for Kerry brands and customers. The QA Analyst supports the integrated food safety and quality systems. Will be responsible for monitoring, implementation and execution of quality/food safety systems throughout the facility across all three shifts, and is critical to meeting customer, company, and certification requirements.
What would you do?

  • Release acceptable product in SAP.
  • Investigate and answer customer complaints.
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Quality Manager and/or including laboratory bench work and data entry.
  • Help with the implementation and maintenance of OEE (overall equipment efficiency). Focus on the reintroduction and sustainability of the 5S program.
  • Help with the maintenance and reporting of the operational hygiene program.
  • Drive, support, analyze, and train employees in the ways of lean management.
  • Implement and help sustain RCA (Root Cause Analysis) / CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventative Action) for internal and external nonconformances.
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Quality Leadership Team.
  • Internal Auditor - help with internal auditing on the various programs within the facility.

What will you need to be successful?

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate or Bachelor's degree in biology/Chemistry a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a related position within the Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Food quality systems including but not limited to SQF, HACCP, GMPs and other related prerequisites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of data analysis.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Flexibility to change priorities.
  • Ability to work independently (unsupervised).
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

NOTE: This position is intended to work in the 2nd or 3rd shift.
