Floater Teachers Needed:

We are in need of 2 floater/assistant teachers to assist our lead instructors daily and provide break coverage as needed. Floaters can work with any age group of children and work with classroom teachers to provide the necessary instructional and social education that is needed for our children to succeed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must meet all state licensing requirements: Background Checks/Education/Medical
  • Positive energy
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to engage with children of all ages and skill levels
  • Must have a High School diploma, but • CDA, Associates, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood degrees preferred
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
  • Safety and customer-service oriented

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children
  • Teach children using our rigorous and robust curriculum based on Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards
  • Develop lesson plans based on the center’s Instructional Scope
  • Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
  • Establish positive and productive relationships with families and staff
  • Support the social and emotional development of all the children in the classroom
  • Support center based initiatives that improve enrollment and family engagement

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
