Position Profile:
Breezeline is looking for an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst or Senior Analyst, to join a growing team! The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Director of FP&A in the development and maintenance of forecasts, financial models, budgets, reporting, automation initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis to support decision making and strategy across the organization. This will be a highly visible and cross functional role with frequent exposure to the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail oriented, and driven to make an impact on the Company’s operations as a strategic internal advisor to the business.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and create financial models for network expansion initiatives including forecasts for CAPEX, revenues, and additional KPIs.
  • Support overall budget and reforecast deliverables, including development of key metrics, and evaluating performance against these targets.
  • Create presentation materials to effectively communicate results and actions.
  • Support activities including strategic planning, board initiatives and M&A.
  • Contribute to strategic reviews, new business opportunity assessments, and the strategic plan.
  • Guides financial decisions by establishing tools, systems and processes to proactively address shortfalls.
  • Identify trends and propose solutions to improve financial results.
  • Support M&A activity through modeling support and input.
  • Compiles and reports financial data as required by organization and government regulations.
  • Prepares reports needed to satisfy tax requirements, reports key financial data.
  • Support annual audits as required and appropriate.
  • Support cross-functional teams to drive business results.
  • Work closely with Data & Analytics team and corporate parent to help develop KPIs and related targets, as well as to ensure consistent KPI reporting and measurement

Education and Experience:
  • 2-6+ years’ experience working in FP&A or finance related role within technology,
  • Telecommunications, consulting, or investment banking (industry experience not required)
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field with an emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Strong financial modeling ability and experience using advanced Excel formulas (pivot tables, xlookup, sum offset, sumifs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial terms, budgets, financial reports
  • High degree of maturity, honesty, trust and integrity, cultivating these qualities in others
  • Sophisticated proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (Google Sheets and Slides experience a plus)
  • Understanding of Tableau and/or SQL a plus
  • Proficient with Financial Systems such as Workday, ORACLE and/or People Soft
