Reports To: Chemical Plant Manager (CPM)

Objective: To meet corporate production goals by safely in-bounding and out-bounding bulk chemical trailers per standard Operating Procedures. Provide support for facility maintenance personnel in daily maintenance activities to ensure the plant operates in a fully functional and safe manner.

Critical Requirements:
The filling of bulk chemical trailers is critical to the overall success of meeting corporate demand for both internal and external customers. The employee is required to maintain communication with Corporate Control Room and Western distribution team.
The employee must report damaged equipment on bulk chemical trailers or other facility equipment in a timely manner.

Facilities - Responsible to use care and respect when utilizing equipment and facilities.Additionally, all employees should pick up and clean in any public space, restroom, break room or passageway where they might be located or traveling throughout the facility.Housekeeping is everyone’s responsibility.

Responsibilities:
Employee’s primary responsibility is to perform outbound and inbound procedures per Standard Operating Procedures at the fill site.

Employee is required to pass written and verbal certification for inbounding and outbounding bulk chemical trailers at the fill site.

Inspect bulk chemical trailers and other equipment within the facility and report damages to the Corporate Control Room.

Must assist maintenance in maintaining facility equipment.

Must learn the CMMS maintenance program and sign off completed work orders on daily maintenance activities.

Must complete assigned safety training before deadline.

Perform any other duties assigned by the CPM.

Specific Requirements (training, education, certification)
Must have high school diploma.
Must have a valid driver’s license. (CDL preferred)
Must be able to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures associated with daily activities.
Must be capable of operating a yard mule, coupling-uncoupling and safely repositioning bulk chemical trailers inside the plant.

Must be willing to learn and understand all functions of plant operations.
Must maintain a positive attitude
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Must be able to work in outdoor environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb on and off bulk chemical trailers.
Must be able to open and close cylinder valves on bulk chemical trailers.

Required PPE: Employee required to wear Western uniform, steel toed boots, and safety glasses at all times when on duty.
