JOIN the area’s LARGEST independent full-line authorized PROVIDER of the industry’s top-three manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology as a Field Service / Copier Repair Technician within Connellsville PA and surrounding service areas (Fayette County, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Washington, Greene). Experience highly preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.

** Use of a company vehicle provided, along with a gas card, cell phone, tools, and laptop computer for this position. **

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Field Service Technician for our Copier/Printer division will provide service and customer support during field visits for the installation, services, and maintenance of network connected copiers, printers, and scanners ensuring exceptional customer service in a professional business environment. You will diagnose mechanical and/or technical problems and determine proper solutions. You will work in coordination with the IT staff to assist in resolving underlying problems with the network or the need for any new firmware. You may install and configure devices and identify and resolve malfunctions/failures within the hardware or software system. Apart from the regular servicing and replacement of these devices, you will keep yourself up to date with training activities for the certification of new products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.

Associate degree, or related work experience, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering field is highly regarded.

- Experience in Field Service work, system repair, networking computer systems and telecommunications preferred.

- Customer service oriented. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

- Ability to work and set goals with little supervision.

- Strong work ethic. Strong desire to achieve success through hard work and commitment.
