Job Details

Field Service Technicians process customer supplied parts/equipment at the customer’s location using company supplied tools. Applicant must have the ability to learn and retain skills in at least one of these areas: certified welder, mechanical polisher, surface finish technician, or VTII certified quality technician.

Must be willing and able to travel to a customer’s location with 24 hour notice. By the nature of this work, this position does not have standard work hours and days.

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb. Must be able to reach above and below shoulder and have fine finger manipulation. Work in an environment that can be dirty (metal dust).

Will be required to meet customer requirements: site specific training and safety protocols, testing (drug, COVID, other) quarantine, vaccination, background check, and others as outlined by the customer

Seeking applicants that, once trained, can proficiently and safely utilize: wrenches/adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, electric drill/screw gun, electric shears, bench grinder, band saw, clamps, cranes/ropes, slings, chains, DC power supply(stationary/portable), pressurized air/blow off guns, electric/pneumatic pumps, electric/pneumatic palm sanders, electric/pneumatic angle grinder, pneumatic die grinder, and pressure washers.

Must have: basic computer skills; ability to do basic math; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; and must be able to timely, accurately and neatly complete required paperwork.

Must have the physical ability to perform duties as confined space attendant. (Training will be provided by employer)

Requires the ability to distinguish colors and have clear close and distance vision.

Full-time hourly position.

Starting rate $22.00 – $35.00 per hour.
