Job Summary


The Learning Center Student Assistant could function in a number of capacities to support programming and services of the Learning Center. These positions include supporting students in their course work through peer education, assisting with front desk customer service, and facilitating workshops and bootcamps.

Responsibilities


Assist students in content review - 75%
Will work with students collaboratively to review content.


Will work with students utilizing the Center - 25%

Will assist customers by answering questions for walk-in traffic, serve as a greeter at the front desk, and work with students utilizing the Center.


Required Qualifications


Educational Requirements
Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Other Required Qualifications
Friendly, engaging, organized, and have a passion for helping others.

Required Experience
Enrolled at Georgia College & State University.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


SKILLS
Effectively use (or willing to learn) technology in this role to communicate with students, plan sessions, and assist in peer learning.
