We are seeking a Federal Account Executive supporting our Readiness line of business. This sales and business development leader will drive SGS's growth in support of our defense and national security customers. In this role, you will be part of the SGS engine room, working to provide AI solutions at the operational edge and deliver deeper insights and speed to decision-making in focused defense and national security missions.

SGS Federal Account Executives live with our customers every single day. They are driven by a curiosity and passion for understanding how our solutions help to solve critical national security challenges around asset availability. They are the link between the operator who uses SGS solutions, and the technologists who build and field them. At every step of the way, you will be the critical voice at the table, making sure that as SGS grows, our customers and end-users benefit from the journey. In this role, you have a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI strategy, guiding your customers through acquiring and implementing innovative technology in support of the missions that matter most.

Join us in:

  • Driving go-to-market strategies that directly and positively impact SGS pipeline, bookings, and revenue targets
  • Collaborating proactively across the organization to achieve broader company sales objectives while maintaining connectivity to the program/contract executing managers.
  • Developing relationships, serving as customer-facing POC, and navigating highly complex organizational sales processes and engagements
  • Demonstrating understanding of AI/ML and other emerging technology trends, as well as their impact on business decisions in assigned vertical
  • Identifying the organizations, users, and data we need to build world-class Readiness technology for warfighters. Your position between the customer and our engineers ensures we have the use cases and data to make that happen.
  • Identifying, qualifying, shaping and capturing opportunities
  • Supporting color team reviews, gate review, price to win efforts and campaign strategy development

You'll have:

  • 5+ years experience of federal contracting or business development experience
  • Defense operational and / or defense contracting background with one or more of the following areas: maintenance, supply chain and logistics, digital government services, DLA, and data analytics
  • Deep expertise in government acquisition process and approaches to enable program growth and expansion
  • Experience leading sales campaigns, go-to-market strategies, and proposals within the federal market
  • Strong relationship development skillset and ability to cultivate key customer relationships
  • Travel Required
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Additional Favorable Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience with software solutions
  • Robust knowledge around AI solutions
  • TS/SCI security clearance
