Seeking Full-time or Part-time Ag Employee

Klaksvik Farms LLC is a family farm operation in the heart of Minnesota lakes country between Underwood and Fergus Falls. We grow corn and soybeans and are seeking a trustworthy Ag Employee to help with all aspects of farming, including machinery operation. A willingness to learn and strong work ethic are a must. Part-time or Seasonal position available, but a Full-time, year-round employee is our ultimate goal. Physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy objects and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Operate and maintain modern farm equipment and vehicles, including skid-steer, tillage tractor, sprayer and semi-truck

-General maintenance and upkeep of farm property

-Grain dryer and bin operation

-Keep accurate records and assist with the development and implementation of farm management plans

-Ability and availability to work long hours during peak planting and harvesting seasons

-Safely handle farm chemicals and follow all farm safety procedures and protocols

-Care for a small number of livestock as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

-Previous experience working on a farm or ag environment preferred

-Valid Driver’s License

-Ability to safely operate farm equipment

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Basic math skills

-Time management and problem-solving skills

-Punctual, honest, and takes pride in their work

Starting wage between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
