Family Personal Assistant
A Family Personal Assistant (Family PA) is the combination of a household personal assistant and a nanny in one role. The primary goal is to give the parents more time to work and spend with their children.
Megan Farr and Owen Gabrielson are married and are both lawyers. They work together in their firm in Enumclaw, Washington (www.farrlawgroup.com). They have two children
(Grades 8 and 6) who attend Annie Wright Schools in Tacoma and need assistance with picking them up from school and taking them to after school activities. They also need help with household management and tasks and some administrative tasks at the law firm.
Job Description
- Transportation for children (after school pick-up, drop off and pick up from activities)
- Grocery pick up & meal prep
- Household errands (dry cleaner, post office, etc.)
- Keep home organized and neat
- Household upkeep & maintenance (change light bulbs, vehicle maintenance, etc.)
- Light Laundry
- Filing and similar tasks at Farr Law Group, PLLC

Requirements
- Current Driver’s License
- Car insurance
- Impeccable driving record

Compensation
- $20/hour plus mileage (commensurate with IRS standard rates for 2023 = $0.65.5. https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-issues-standard-mileage-rates-for-2023-business- use-increases-3-cents-per-mile)
