Job Description:
This is a position that will operate during Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, with possible extension for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
There are 12 positions available for 12 tenured faculty members.
About the FMP:
The Faculty Mentor Program will provide 24 faculty members the opportunity to connect with a tenured faculty member, who will guide them through the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Each FMP Mentor will be assigned up to two mentees.
Essential Duties:
The FMP Mentor will do the following:
- Attend the Faculty Mentor Program Kickoff meeting the week of Fall Flex, 8/21/2023 (1 hour)
- Attend training meetings with FMP Coordinator and other mentors and complete training logs and assignments throughout the academic year (9 hours)
- Meet, at minimum on a bi-weekly basis, with assigned mentees (22 hours)

Salary Detail Information: Compensation is a stipend of $2,000 for 32 hours over Fall 2023-Spring 2024.
- Contract is currently under negotiations. Compensation may change.
