SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer. The selected candidate will perform oversight of the industrial security program at the San Antonio regional site.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent SRC as the primary security contact with external customers and government agencies for the San Antonio office.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of principles and practices to ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and other Department of Defense (DOD) and program requirements.
  • Works under general management direction but operates independently to establish local security requirements and priorities.
  • Demonstrates innovation and is proactive in improving the security program.
  • Serves as the security subject matter expert for local senior managers.
  • Manage and enforce DoD security programs and requirements, including multiple classified contracts (DD254s)
  • Conduct and prepare for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews and interface with auditors as needed.
  • Oversee security education training; conduct foreign travel briefings and debriefings; prepare, review and track DD254s; maintain security documentation as required.
  • Conduct in-processing of new employees to include execution of SF 312 Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and other customer vetting processes as required.
  • Manage and initiate personnel clearances and process visit access requests (VARs) in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) as well as all other applicable access documentation as needed.
  • Manage Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems in accordance with DoD and UL 2050 standards including managing badges, access cards, and visit requests.
  • Oversee physical requirements of classified areas.
  • Conduct annual self-inspections utilizing government-provided self-inspection checklists.
  • Primary POC for ensuring proper procedures are followed for opening and closing of classified areas; to include end-of-day checks.
  • Provide corrective action plans to address deficiencies identified in self-inspections.
  • Conduct security inquiries, identify suspected security infractions and violations, develop reports, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Execute other personnel, physical, and information security-related tasks as required.
  • Coordinate with Information Systems Security Manager to provide oversight of classified information systems

What You Bring to the Team – Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered such as high school diploma with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with supporting security disciplines, including document control, visitor processing, personnel security processing, and physical security.
  • Experience using online government security systems, including e-QIP, DISS, and NISS.
  • Ability to articulate and present concise, intelligent, decisive, and risk managed recommendations.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to work with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Must have basic office IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Travel required less than 10 percent.

  • Previous experience as a Facility Security Officer for a possessing facility.
  • Previous experience working with DCSA
