Mission: The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the facility by ensuring maintenance and repair projects are completed in a timely manner. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance services to facilities and equipment, specifically lighting, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, water systems, phone/IT systems and maintains a log of preventative maintenance.
• Provide internal support on small restoration/repair projects to the winery, clubhouse, wine lounges, and guest houses as related to needs of the production, administrative and hospitality departments.
• Coordinate and respond to service requests in a timely manner, this includes responding to emergency maintenance calls during off hours.
• Small Repairs and maintenance including painting, roofing, gutters, windows, doors, locks, flooring, drywall, and hardscape.
• Management of seasonal or temporary labor for internal repair projects.
• Assist with facility operations and safety inspections/walkthroughs.
• Oversee vendors and outside contractors performing repairs and preventative maintenance projects.
• Provide support for grounds maintenance when necessary.
• Work with management to create and implement emergency procedures for facilities.
• Organize and maintain maintenance shop with tools and materials for daily tasks.
• Event set up and support.
• Maintaining inventory and condition reports of Domaine Serene’s physical assets.
• Organize inventory and storage infrastructure and logistics to maximize efficiencies.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in maintenance operations.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule with Sunday availability and on call emergency response.
• Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders.
• Knowledge of construction materials and building design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Competency in carpentry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines on short notice.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate discretion, good judgment, tactfulness and diplomacy.
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems.
• Proven ability to read and effectively interpret complex documents.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work successfully in partnership with other departments.

Experience:

• High Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years’ experience in facility maintenance.
• Experience in the wine industry or a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Valid Driver’s License
