We have an opening for an Experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join our team.

You Provide:

• Desire to do quality work and provide great customer service
• Capability to perform the physical work of installing HVAC systems
• Ability to work in basements, attics, and crawlspaces while lifting, bending, crawling, using ladders, hand tools and power tools
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps
• Working knowledge of soldering and refrigeration procedures
• Inclination to invest in tools used in service and installation
• Enthusiasm to participate in service training seminars and classes
• Industry certifications are desired, or ability/willingness to attain
• Clean driving record, and ability to pass background check and drug test
• Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Aptitude for excellent customer service and communication
• Awesome attitude and work ethic

The Job:

• Understand layout, design, and fabrication of HVAC systems
• Ably remove old equipment
• Installation of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and ductwork
• Some sheet metal fabrication for coil pans, access panels, etc.
• Set and level base, air handler or furnace, and condensing unit
• Cut and clean fittings, thread pipes, reconnect gas piping, install drain lines, etc.
• Assemble, braze, and test line sets
• Perform low voltage wiring for furnace, A/C, thermostats, etc.
• Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units
• Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, time cards
• Communicate well with home and property owners, supervisors, builders and other trades
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times

We work out of two locations – Knoxville and Kingston, but service the greater Metro Market and Roane County

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
