We are looking for the right individual to fill the Full-Time position of Exterior Remodeler/Project Manager at our brand new office/shop in Arnold PA. Whalen Exteriors is looking to hire an experienced exterior carpenter/remodeler and a roofing project manager. Applicants must be able to install soffit, fascia, gutters, siding, roofing and repairs. Must be proficient using an aluminum brake to form fascia, trim, flashing for roofs, etc. Experience in framing and basic carpentry is preferred. The majority of our work is exterior renovations such as roofing (managing crews), roof framing, deck and porch building, siding and soffit and fascia installation, gutter installation, with a number of interior projects per year, usually during the winter months. Our interior work consists of basement finishing, kitchen and bath remodels, etc. Must be able to communicate with customers and lead & supervise subcontractors. Must be able to work through and solve problems that arise during construction with little direction. Must be comfortable working on heights. Must have personal hand tools.

Duties:

Maintaining a professional image and positive attitude at all times

Communicating with customers to understand their needs

Supervising and working with subcontractors

Proficiency in exterior remodeling.

Maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements:

Valid PA Driver’s License

Clean Driving record (in order to drive company vehicles)

2 years experience in exterior remodeling/carpentry (roofing, siding, gutters, soffit & fascia)

Personal hand tools

Benefits:

Pay $16-$25/hr
