APM with Lab and Health Care Construction Experience
MLP Builders - Radnor, PA
MLP Builders has an opening for an Experienced Construction APM with heavy MEP experience with a focus on the HVAC aspect for a lab/medical facility in King of Prussia.
General Contracting experience /Multiple trade supervision / coordination skills / Scheduling a plus
Responsibilities:
- Formulate schedule with the Project (PM) and Super
- Update and monitor schedule weekly
- Track critical path and material lead time chart
- Manage safety and weekly Superintendent Gang Box Talk per OSHA guidelines
- Review change orders prior to all submissions to PM
- Help manage weekly meetings with leads for each trade
- Attend owner bi-weekly meetings on site
- Review Submittals with PM
- Review returned Submittals with team prior to return to Subs
- Review scope and contract awards with PM
- Check drawings and specification as being built in the field
- Manage the budget
- Control of day to day activities in tandem with PM
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 5 years of construction supervision experience
- Motivated self-starter with a high level of personal integrity and business ethics who has the ability to work in a team environment.
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of medical building and site development
- Strong communication, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of competing needs from both within and outside of the organization.
- Software experience in both MS Office and ProCore
- Valid Drivers' License
