Job description
Under the supervision of the Sr Travel & Expense Manager, the Expense Administrator is responsible for assisting with the administration of Alutiiq, LLC’s Concur Expense program. The Expense Administrator reviews expense reports and backup documentation, reclassifying and reporting any variances from corporate policy and/or government accounting (FAR/DFAR), Internal Revenue Services, and other regulatory agencies. In addition, the Expense Administrator will assist in maintaining employees’ profiles in the Concur database.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Manage the expense tool (Concur). This includes handling any change requests, maintain the coding, audit expense reports, creating and running reports
- Review corporate credit card statements and backup documentation for adherence to policies.
- Resolve issues directly with cardholders and/or their management related to non-compliant expense occurrences.
- Assist in the initial training for the corporate card program as well as on-going training for current cardholders
- Preparing the monthly statement packets for archiving.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in Concur or similar expense reimbursement program
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability in adapting to organizational changes
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with planning, prioritizing, and organization skills
