We’re actively seeking a talented Executive Benefits Case Design Analyst to join our Corporate Solutions Team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is on-site and hybrid with the requirement to be in the office at least 2 days per week. We are also open to consider remote candidates who are licensed.

As a Design Analyst, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by supporting our Field Sales team. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 10 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include a National Sales Manager, Field VPs, and Marketing Specialists, all fellow Executive Benefits professionals.

How you will make an impact :
Provide timely and accurate Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plan Proposals using a combination of proprietary illustration software and Microsoft Office

Monitor cases as they develop and support Field VPs in maintaining a current and accurate inventory

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products and platform

Participate in process improvement discussions and the development of proposal tools

Coordinate with New Business and Underwriting to ensure policies are issued efficiently and accurately

The experience you will bring :
5+ Years of experience developing sales proposals and performing technical analysis

Strong knowledge of all Executive Benefit plan designs, COLI and non-COLI products and marketplace

Proficiency with illustration systems and Microsoft Office

Ability to handle a variety of concurrent projects, servicing clients proactively, as well as reacting appropriately to changing priorities

Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and on the phone

What will make you stand out:
Series 6 or 7 licenses

Field experience

Strong knowledge of the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plan design process

Analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$30.48 - $38.13 - $49.57
