Treasure Valley Hospital is a 28-bed, Joint Commission accredited surgical facility located in Boise, Idaho, which is consistently recognized for our high patient satisfaction scores. Check out our Google Reviews to see why our patients rate us so highly! We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Administration Department. You will be supporting the CEO and COO/CFO. This is a full-time position, day shift.

License or Certification Required: None.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school graduate
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Prior healthcare field experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Excellent customer service

Interpersonal Relations: Interaction with patients, families, physicians, teammates, visitors, contractors, and vendors must be in a manner that is friendly, positive, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. Behavior must promote an atmosphere of teamwork which is consistent with hospital standards and guidelines.

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Confidentiality in all hospital-related matters
  • Expert at taking minutes
  • Ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, reports and presentations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
  • Research information
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other hospital personnel and patients
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be good at following up on projects, tasks, etc.
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Must have good reasoning ability and use independent judgment
  • Screen telephone calls and schedule appointments

Equipment Used:

  • Computer, multi-line telephone, printer/copier/fax, time clock

Required Physical Tasks:

  • Prolonged sitting
  • Occasional standing and/or walking
  • Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
