Le Select will be opening soon as BRG’s first French brasserie, located in Chicago’s bustling River North! They are currently seeking an Events Sales Manager to join their team!

ABOUT LE SELECT: Inspired by Chicago's commerce, architecture, and sophisticated no-nonsense sensibility, Le Select is a brasserie helmed by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Rose, known for articulating classic French cuisine as an homage to locality, heritage, and season.


EVENTS SALES MANAGER’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Receiving all events inquiries and conducting all correspondence with prospective and confirmed clients.
  • Acting as the liaison between the client and depertmental heads to accurately communicate all pertinent details and information correlating to that event, ensuring all parties involved are clear on all event components.
  • Developing new business relationships and opportunities to increase private event sales.
  • Overseeing and managing all private events detials and execution before handing-off to operations team.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with clients including Thank You’s and outreach for repeat business.
  • Serving as an ambassador of the BRG brand for perspective clients.
  • Working with the management team to develop standard operating procedures for private events and facilitating any systems to be put in place at your location.
  • Participating in weekly manager meetings to review all pertinent details regarding all up-coming events and catering at the related entities.
  • Involving yourself in developing and creating specialty items pertaining to each event, such as the printing of any menus and place-cards, along with any other details designed to make the event completely unique.
  • Working with outside vendors such as flower, linen, and rental companies in order to create a full-service event sector that is able to meet each client's particular needs. All specialty requests from clients should be accommodated to the best of your abilities.
  • Collaborating with the team to generate ideas and collateral to promote Private Events and Catering sales, including creative ideas to fill the space when not booked.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals as set by the BRG Executive Team.
  • Completing monthly outreach and entertainment goals as set by the BRG Executive Team and Event Sales Leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Two or more years experience in a similar role
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team

This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team!


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift 10- 30lbs if necessary.
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
