The Event Technology Manager is responsible for meeting and event program registration solutions. This role provides support to drive growth and profitability by increasing customers’ experience by smoothly executing the conference plan; this is achieved primarily through technical conference set up and enhancing technical marketing materials management.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Build and maintain registration websites, electronic invitations, and confirmations for each assigned event following client guidelines and within client driven timelines

· Oversee all aspects of program website design, understanding system capabilities and reporting parameters to ensure data is captured appropriately for reporting purposes

· Work within the registration website technology to manage thresholds for arrival/departure parameters, room blocks, room block changes, activities, roommate assignments, data capture, and reporting

· Manage online reporting tools to provide client and internal team with required reporting

· Provide customer service to event attendees via phone or email

· Create and manage attendee communications

· Produce all required on-site reports, name badges, confirmations and misc. program collateral

· Manage on-site registration process including travelling on-site for the event

· Program reconciliation including hotel sleeping rooms

· Manage all event technology vendors (attendee management platform, mobile apps, credentialing services)

SPECIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of industry experience

· College degree or equivalent work experience

· 2+ years of experience with online registration administration (Cvent, Aventri, RainFocus) or other online registration tool

· Adept at working on multiple projects at once, setting priorities, working independently, problem solving, improvising, and functioning as part of a team that often must perform under pressure

· Ability to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with cross-functional team

· Meticulous organizational abilities

· Effective verbal and written communicator

· Collaborative team player

Strong computer skills required:

*Power user in the Microsoft Office Suite

*Advanced mail merge experience

*Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
