My client is a well-established, general contractor who has been trading for over 30 years, building up a great reputation in the healthcare market. Over 80% of the projects that they work on are with repeat clients, this shows that they produce a brilliant quality of work. Some of the clients that they work with are Columbia University, NYU School of Medicine, and Stamford Medicine. The projects involve ground-up construction, design & Build, and renovations and they also work on imaging projects. Projects they work on can range from $2M - $15M.

About the role

· Document constructability concerns, questions, drawing discrepancies + chase answers and corrections.

· Request, receive, compare and level multiple bids for each project trade

· Communicate with Operations team management to fully describe and hand off completed estimating packages

· Help to evaluate bid opportunities

· Attend pre-bid meetings or walk-throughs as necessary

Depending on your experience you will be rewarded with a brilliant salary ranging between $140,000 - $190,000. You will also have a 401K, dental insurance, 18 days PTO which can rise to 23 days, yearly raises and a bonus scheme.

About the requirements

· 5+ years of Construction experience working as an Estimator working for a US based General Contractor, ideally experience within the fitout industry. I am also open to a Project Manager who is looking to move into an Estimator role.

· Experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Associate's Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree.
