Position Summary

Pavion and our family of companies (CTSI, AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, Netronix, et al) is seeking a talented and motivated Estimator to join our growing team!

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

The Estimator works closely with the sales teams, clients and project teams to provide estimates for security jobs.

· Complete estimates for security work in a timely manner

· Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by carefully reviewing RFPs

· Review blueprints, specifications, and related bid documents

· Partners with the Sales and Operations for all security estimates including qualifying RFPs

· Assist in outlining specifications for servers, workstations, and networks system design

· Work with manufacturers and procurement for accurate and competitive pricing

· Walk potential and current project sites with sales and operations as needed

· Attend pre-bid meetings as needed

· Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Basic Qualifications:

· Associate degree or equivalent experience

· 3-5 years’ experience with low voltage electronic security systems

Preferred Qualifications:

· Advanced MS Office

· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

· Excellent organization and planning skills

· Strong reasoning and problem solving skills

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in varying conditions including but not limited to working near moving mechanical parts, working in high, precarious places, working around fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, work with explosives, vibrations, in extreme cold or heat, in wet or humid (nonweather) conditions, and outdoor weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $89,900.00 per year
