Job description
Chadwick Service Company is looking for an Estimating Assistant to provide support to the estimating department by obtaining, maintaining and organizing information needed for pricing projects.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update the Bid Schedule
Solicit subcontractors and vendors for bids
Reproduce or print drawings as required
Keep FTP site updated and accessible for vendors
Learn the process of bid take-offs from plans
Enter pricing requests and changes using customized software
Other administrative duties as required
Requirements
High energy and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of construction/HVAC systems a plus, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Web Browsing
High attention to details and ability to meet deadlines a must
Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills
