Responsibilities
CHI LakeWood Health is seeking an EVS Aide to help keep the enviornment safe and clean. This is a PRN casual as needed position. The ideal candidate is willing to work a variety of shifts. The person working in this position will provide a clean, safe and friendly environment for patients, visitors and employees by providing housekeeping services: collecting trash, biohazard trash, soiled linen, dirty instruments, daily patient room cleaning, cleans public and department areas. Provides for the general housekeeping duties for all areas in the facility according to policies and procedures in dept. manual. Follows Infection Control policies and Joint Commission standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Stripping, mopping, carpet cleaning, buffing, vacuuming and sweeping of floors
- Cleans all bathrooms, rest rooms, sinks and utility areas.
- Cleans patient’s room and equipment.
- Washes windows and walls.
- Collects and disposes of trash.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.
- Expected to perform other support duties as assigned by EVS supervisor.

- Must be at least 16 years of age.
