We are actively seeking a Environmental Health and Safety Regional Manager to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position can work out of our facility in Ridgefield, WA or Woodland, WA. Come and grow with us!

As the Environmental Health and Safety Regional Manager, you will be responsible for helping to ensure WTI’s compliance with all applicable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and program requirements.

How you Will Make a Positive Impact:

  • Assure the deployment, integration, and sustained utilization of applicable EH&S programs (policies and procedures) such that compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations and other requirements can be met
  • Developing/ensuring the development of site-specific procedures, as applicable
  • Ensure the execution of all applicable environmental (regulatory and other) requirements (i.e., Tier II/TRI reporting, air permit recordkeeping/reporting, stormwater/wastewater/SPCCC requirements, etc.,)
  • Ensuring the execution of all applicable health and safety (regulatory and other) requirements (i.e., hoist/crane inspections, ladder inspection, LOTO audits, etc.,)
  • Serving as the as liaison for all external regulatory inquiries
  • Developing site specific training plans that reflect all regulatory and site-specific business needs for all locations within the defined region of responsibility
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing or assuring the implementation of all training as identified on the training matrices
  • Reviewing and approving all Management of Change (MOC) Requests for EH&S risk and liability in the defined region of responsibility
  • Providing monthly data in support of defined EH&S Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Providing support to capital projects as requested
  • Utilizing and ensuring the incorporation of the Company’s third party EH&S data management system
  • Identifying and supporting efforts that include, but are not limited to, Environmental/Health and Occupational Safety Management Systems, Waste Minimization, Emergency Management, Employee Engagement, etc.
  • Establishing, implementing, and managing communications across the defined region of responsibility
  • Supporting, participating/conducting program audits (and in inspections as requested)
  • Serving as a technical resource for regional staff and other regional stakeholders and customers
  • Assure the development and implementation of functional safety committees at all locations across the defined region of responsibility


The Value You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or Environment Science/Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field where experience including all facets of the EH&S discipline
  • Previous experience managing staff in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to identify, investigate, correct, and document regulatory non-conformances
  • Multi-site experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skill set and communication skills
  • Strong advocate for change with a bias for action
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal communications
