Job Summary: This position is responsible for performance management of environmental compliance assurance and sustainability programs. Developing, implementing, and sustaining management systems and permit obligations are critical to this position.

Responsibilities:

-Implement programs and procedures for environmental compliance assurance and performance management goals and objectives

-Manage construction project environmental compliance assurance and sustainability requirements

-Support operating units to maintain environmental compliance in all aspects of environmental regulations and permit requirements

-Support technical monitoring systems and data collection

-Conduct routine environmental inspections

-Maintain environmental recordkeeping

-Assist with activities involving regulatory agencies in the areas of air, water and waste management, including site inspections.

-Assist with preparation of required permits, licenses or approvals

-Assist with submitting specified required reports to external agencies or stakeholders to meet all regulatory deadlines

-Monitor emerging regulatory and industry issues that may affect facility

-Engaging employees to maintain training requirements and a high level of environmental awareness to maintain our performance and sustainability goals.

Education & Experience:

-Four-year degree from an accredited university in engineering preferably environmental, civil, or chemical; environmental science; or relate degree.

-Minimum of three years’ experience in environmental compliance, permitting and reporting

-A minimum of 3 years work experience in an industrial environment or related field preferred.

-Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards, and environment regulations (federal, state and local)

-Industrial processes

-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

-Competency in Microsoft Office applications

-Familiar with data management systems
