Looking for a job that will allow you to be outdoors and start a career in the Solar industry? We are looking for hard working team players to join our Klick Solar Installation team. A great candidate for this position will be someone who is passionate about renewable energy and excited to get into the industry. Training provided. NO SOLAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Shifts: M-F (40-45 hrs/week)
Pay: $17 - $20/hr (Based off of experience)
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and layout PV arrays.
- Assist with: assembling material, installing racking, modules, painting conduit, trenching, and ensuring the project looks better when you leave than when you arrived.
- Following OSHA safety requirements.
- Ascending and descending ladders all day.
- Capable of standing all day.
- Manual labor - Lifting, Bending, twisting.
- Operating basic hand tools and power tools.
- Learn to use fall protection and PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment).
- Clearly and Effectively communicating with the Installation Team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation required.
- Residential solar installation experience desired.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and cell phone.
- Ability to lift 50lbs +.
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions hot and cold.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, usually at an incline, and be able to ascend and descend ladders throughout the day.
- Manual labor - Lifting, Bending, twisting.
- Willing to work from heights and steep inclines.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Excellent customer service.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday 40-50 hours a week.
- No Solar experience required!
