The Entry Level Shop Technician is responsible for testing, refurbishing, documenting, cleaning, packaging, and inventorying printer equipment. This role is a key player in the production of electronics as they come in and make sure that everything is tested for functionality as defined by company Standards. This is a great opportunity to start on the ground floor to learn a growing business and build your career.

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm Starting pay is from $17.00-$22.00

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Check the copier and make sure all panels are clean and wear is within established standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Input all default settings that we require for each refurbished unit.
• Reset service settings on each refurbished unit.
• Run a finale stress test on the refurbished unit.
• Check double side, stapling, hole punch and tri folding are operational, if installed.

What the ideal candidate will have:

• 
  Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver.
• Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical or ability to learn.
• Be comfortable working independently to hit assigned production targets for any given task.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes.
