Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Define and create Information Security architectural standards, artifacts, design patterns and technical specification document
  • Assess, monitor and recommend improvements to the security architecture to improve security posture, mitigate risks and balancing costs
  • Oversee and consult with project teams to ensure adherence to security design patterns and best practices
  • Designs and collaborates on solutions that balance business requirements with information security requirements
  • Proactively identifies technical and architectural risks, commenting and/or providing alternatives for improvement and present them for approvals
  • Participate in security technology evaluations, proof of concept testing and provide in-depth analysis of the proposed solution
  • Collaborate and partner with various key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure alignment with the overall intended design
  • Partner with architects and engineers with in infrastructure, network, application and business teams to ensure that solutions are developed and managed as per policies and standards, while primary role of the cyber resiliency architect is to build architectural/solution designs and documentation
  • Enable architectural leadership within engaged and assigned projects, provide thought leadership and expertise in cyber security and resiliency architecture.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $154,750 to $371,300 based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.
For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to architect, design and implement cloud infrastructure and platforms from a security and resiliency perspective
  • Practical background in designing and implementing cybersecurity infrastructure, application architectures / controls, Backup- and Restore solutions based on Multi- and Hybrid Cloud Environments
  • Experience with designing and implementing isolated recovery environments(IREs) with immutable data vaults(IDVs) and air gapping.
  • Knowledge of security controls, such as SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, PKI, IDAM, AV, WAF, DLP, EDR, DAST/SAST, Vulnerability Management, Thread Intelligence/Hunting, Security Automation and application controls
  • Experience with one or more of the following: ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITECH, SOX, GDPR, CIS or SOC2
  • One or more security certification, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, CCSP or CCSK – or willingness to certify within first 6 month
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience with programming, orchestration and automation languages including DevSecOps practices
  • One or more certification in Azure, OCP, TOGAF, AWS or GCP
  • Experience working with Epic EHR ecosystem
