Entegris is seeking a 1st shift (Monday-Friday) Engineering Technician to expand our new product development team. In this role, you will work on a dynamic, global team with our Chemists, Engineers and other senior members. You will support new product development and experience the excitement of new product releases. This is a great chance to get hands-on experience while demonstrating your drive and innovation.

In this role you will:
  • Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot synthesis and batch-purification processes from start to finish;
  • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;
  • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product;
  • Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
  • Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;
  • Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;
  • Propose and implement process improvements;
  • Work safely and ensure the safety of co-workers, while striving for zero safety incidents.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-tech field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive) preferred
  • Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field preferred
  • Previous chemical handling experience preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience; New Product Development/Scale-up experience is a plus;
  • Experience working in glove boxes and vacuum systems;
  • Comfortable navigating and running equipment with PLC controllers;
  • Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
  • Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
  • Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks;
  • Strong technical problem-solving capacity.
