ADT Solar is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Consultant. In this role you will be investigating employee relation concerns, providing counsel and assistance to Employees and Management on ER issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations recommending resolution of
- Collaborate with business stakeholders involved in investigations while maintaining
- Conduct confidential employee interviews and gather evidence relative to alleged violations
- Research, collect and analyze investigation findings, and prepare reports
- Maintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities in case management
- Maintain ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing
- Analyze and evaluates employee relations trends and provides actionable feedback to the HR
- Ensure impartial, respectful, and professional behavior in the face of potentially difficult and
- Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and
- Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
- Collaborate with other centers of excellence such as HR Business Partners & Legal.
- Exercise sound judgment and expertise within broadly defined policies and practices
- Promote a culture of ethics, compliance, and integrity in alignment with the company's goals
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required.
- Provides timely investigation summaries and ensures closeout of all completed investigations.
- Keeps the ER Director up to date on pending investigations.
Qualifications, Education and Skills:
- 5 years HR/ER experience
- Solid working knowledge of the principals and practices of employee and labor relations.
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills and managing in ambiguity and tight deadlines
- Proven ability to deliver on time, and as expected while displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- MS office applications (KEY SKILLS )
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least five years of human resources/employee relations experience preferred.
- HR Certification a plus.
