Job Responsibilities
Work Safety -Learn to exhibit both professional and safe driving habits taking the necessary steps to decrease risks to our members, the organization and themselves. Adhere to established safety procedures in daily work.
Job Specific Requirements
- At least 1-year licensed driving experience.
- Ability to pass a non-DOT physical.
- Must meet requirements for annual physical and background check.
- Basic knowledge of automotive tools of the trade.
- Ability to use electronic navigation and/or map to locate members in a safe manner.
- Ability to operate service vehicles; contends with heavy traffic, hazardous road conditions, accidents, etc.
- Must be able to work outside with all types of inclement weather.
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism at all times (e.g., wearing a uniform, presenting a neat appearance to customers, maintaining a clean vehicle, demonstrate a positive demeanor).
- Remain productive while at work and seek other duties when call volume permits.
- Utilize reference material relating to towing and service of vehicles, i.e. AAA Towing & Service Manual and AAA Lockout Manual.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts to cover a 24/7 operation and work mandatory overtime as business needs dictate.
Experience
Preferred- Customer service skills/experience
- 1 year(s): Automotive diagnostic & repair experience
Licenses & Certifications
Required- NYS Driver's License
