Qualifications


Skills you have:

  • Experience overcoming infrastructure challenges and complexities that arise during a typical team hardware/software development, including cmake and make build systems, virtual machines and Docker containers, continuous integration, release and deployment
  • Strong technical skills in designing and implementing tools and approaches that create value and solve problems for other software engineers, like package management, configuration management, Linux system administration, GoogleTest unit testing/mocking and programming in Python
  • Proactive verbal and written communication with the larger software group you serve, as well as ability to context switch between urgent service needs and building the platforms and capabilities of the future
  • Experience with Amazon FreeRTOS and/or embedded Linux
  • Understanding of IoT systems and/or networking protocols

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with major in appropriate discipline required, preferably from an ABET acreddited program
    • This position is being offered at three different levels dependent on skills, experience, etc.:
      • Staff I: No experience required
      • Staff II: 2 years of relevant experience
      • Staff III: 3 years of relevant experience
