Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will report to the Senior Vice President and has responsibility for providing support to the Safety, Quality, and Learning and Development teams. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, supporting strategic initiatives for each department, as well as day-to-day engagement where needed and as defined by the owners of each department. May include site visits and other travel as required in support of ELS Operations and leadership team(s).

Core Business Hours Monday-Friday, Nights and Weekends depending on needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with ELS Safety, Quality, and Learning and Development Departmental leaders. Additional strategies and initiatives will be defined by Senior VP, VP of Operations, and other Support Team leadership.
  • Partner with ELS Departments to determine areas of opportunity for improvements, followed by recommended actions and sole or partnered execution of plans to eliminate gaps and create consistency in the field.
  • Conduct both scheduled and regular communications – in person, phone, or electronic methods – with key stakeholders and field team members to ensure deliverables are met, including managing and providing input for the Quarterly Newsletter, Employee Surveys, etc.
  • Provide support to Safety and Quality departments. Support may include, initiative and policy development, implementation, and follow up with the goal to improve and maintain a strong safety and quality culture across all sites.
  • Provide support to Learning and Development department. Support may include, course content, and other areas of need.
  • Provide support to VP of Operations and Regional Managers. Support may include, but is not limited to, employee communication and engagement methods.
  • Train and Mentor new Site Managers to cover skill development and ELS processes/procedures.
  • Develop or refine tools to make tracking of Safety, Quality, and Learning and Development performance easier for field team members and Support Team leadership.
  • Complete tasks and team engagement by exemplifying ELS Core Values and encourage team members to do the same.
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior VP, VP of Operations, and other Support Team leadership.
Qualifications:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years’ airport operations experience specifically towards a Safety Programs and ISO Quality Programs
  • 4+ years’ experience in developing and delivering leadership content and training
  • 3+ years’ providing support for operations teams
  • Job is based in Carrollton Texas, however there may be the ability to work out of a home office if not based in the DFW metroplex.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented attitude
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated proactive approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Business, Leadership, or related fields

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), SAP, and file conversions


Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to comply with the ELS Drug and Alcohol policy
  • Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks and always promoting a safe work environment.
