Staff Reliability Electronics Engineer

Primary Location: United States-California-Milpitas Other Locations North America-United States-California-Irvine

Duration: Direct hire

SME Suggested Requirement:

Electronic Engineer- Graduate Product design experience Min of 8+ Years’ experience Relevant experience in DFMEA/ FMEA/ Cycling testing / Compliance testing Having experience in Medical is preferred Having experience in cycling testing/ Bench testing

Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related is required; MS is a plus. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be organized, self-learner with, able to multi-task and have strong attention to details.

Required skills:

A minimum of 12+ years with electrical design and stress testing experience is required. Both Reliability Engineering & Electronic Development experienceStrong experience with electronic circuit design and analysis, setup, program and operation of test devices and creation of automated test scripts. Experience with LabVIEW programming or related programming

Preferred skills:

· Proficient experience with laser-based medical equipment. Engineering work experience with theoretical and hands-on experience with ATE or reliability testing.

· Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of optical and electromechanical systems is desired.

· Experience with Design for Reliability (DfR), Planning, supervising and performing HALT/ALT and Reliability demonstration testing.

· Good level of understanding of Electrical and software embedded systems is preferred Experience in design reviews and able to recommend changes and critique complex systems designs.

· A good understanding of statistical analysis techniques such as Weibull, Weibayes, Chi-squared, etc. is preferred Ability for 10% international and domestic travel is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $88,386.44 - $115,000.00 per year
