We are currently looking for Electricians with various degrees of experience to execute installations of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with their hands on a wide variety of projects. While we don’t expect prior experience in this field, you should have previous experience in construction or maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems used to transmit and distribute electricity.
• Inspect wiring diagrams and blueprints to determine work assignments or corrective actions.
• Disconnect electrical systems during installation, repairs or maintenance.
• Examine, test and tag wires, cables and other electrical equipment to identify faulty parts or connections.
• Flip switches to test circuits to ensure proper operation of electrical equipment (e.g. circuits, fixtures, fuses).
• Move and install machinery, equipment and appliances (e.g. heavy motors, transformers) using hoists, cranes and forklifts.
• Lay and secure cables in conduits.
• Install electrical panels.
• Analyze data from circuits using testing equipment to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Read diagrams of construction plans to locate and mark positions for installation of lamps, fixtures, conduit rods etc.
• Build wooden frameworks to hold wire bundles in place in ceilings and walls.
• Install light fixtures.
• Read wiring diagrams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour
