Electrical Technician Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Complete electrical wiring installation as specified on blueprints
- Follow engineering schematics and unit-specific wiring diagrams
- Includes wiring with 12 volts, 24 volts, 110 volts, and 240 volts
- Assist other employees with the assembly of truck body unties and installation of components
- Teaches, coaches, and trains new employees on job-related techniques
- Operates and maintains all tools (including air and electrical power tools) in a safe and reliable manner
Electrical Technician Shift Info
- Day Shift, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Monday - Friday
Electrical Technician Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Highschool Diploma or GED, or 2 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area, and volume
- Able to use tape measure, square, and possess ability to read dimension prints effectively
- Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Required to stand for duration of shift
- At times exposed to fumes or airborne particles
