An automation and controls company located near Norristown, PA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. Job requirements include: BSEE Degree; Direct analog and digital circuit design including firmware and software implementation; Experience with schematic capture and PCB board layout for circuit design; Requires original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems, and ability to draw solutions from both formal training and experience; Experience in the development of complex electromechanical systems including motion control, sensors, user interface display, handheld medical devices, development of 'process control' systems, and PID controls, a plus; Detailed knowledge of microprocessors (interaction with firmware) and/or DSP processors, prior experience in the design and/or applications of A/D's, stepping motors, and serial and parallel communication interfaces, a plus; Familiarity with appropriate FDA, QSR, and ISO regulations: design controls, regulatory approval.
