Job Description:

OLA has an immediate need for electrical engineers for key positions in our NYC Office. Candidates should have approximately five to ten (5-10) years of U.S. consulting experience in the design of electrical systems including new services, distribution, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial and institutional facilities. Responsibilities will include project management, mentoring junior engineers, field investigation, analysis, design, production of contract documents, and construction administration services. The candidate shall have the capability of working on multiple projects and must have good communications skills to relate to clients, other design professionals, contractors, vendors and his/her peers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Five to Ten years’ US experience with commercial electrical systems design
• Minimum EIT Preferred, PE a plus
• Familiarity with National Electric Code and NYC codes
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD required, knowledge of Revit preferred
• Project Management, or Assistant Project Manager experience
• Supervisory experience of junior engineers a plus
• LEED Accreditation a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
