Education Coordinator

The role of the Education Coordinator is providing management and oversight for the vocational programs (CNA, Caregiver, etc.) offered by Arizona Medical Training Institute and Lifework Education in the Southwest region. The Education Coordinator reports to the Regional Director and works closely with the CNA Program Coordinator, Prehospital Program Director, and the Continuing Education Program Manager.

Credentials Required:

  • No specific credentials are required. However, excellent communication abilities and data entry skills are essential for candidates.
  • All Lifework managers should be certified as BLS instructors—this certification can be provided as in-service training

Responsibilities include:

· Supervising the day-to-day operation of the allied health programs, including

o Budgetary oversight

o Class and instructor scheduling and oversight

o Working closely with the Director of Admissions to onboard, train, empower, and manage the day-to-day activities of the student services team

o Working closely with the CNA Lead Instructor to

§ Ensure program compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulation

§ Manage program accreditation

§ Manage relationships clinical partners, funding partners, and regulatory bodies

· Coordinating with Operations Manager to

o Schedule training space

o Order program supplies

· Project management of sponsored or funded programs, developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets

· Instructor and preceptor supervision and monitoring, including

o Recruiting, hiring, performance review, and terminating

o Maintaining appropriate certifications and qualifications

o Mentorship, including performance evaluation and coaching

o Submission and verification of time sheets in When I Work

· Working closely with the Continuing Education Program Manager to schedule and run crossover classes

· Responding to and dealing with student grievances

· Verifying graduation readiness for each student

Responsibilities may also include:

· Opening and closing physical offices

· Reception at any of Lifework’s physical offices

· Receiving and placing customer service telephone calls

· Providing information in response to inquiries about products and services

· Conducting point-of-sale transactions with customers

· Following up on expressions of interest from prospective students

· Assisting students with registration in Lifework classes

· Assisting students with navigation to day 1 of vocational programs

· Assisting students with financial issues, such as tuition payment and financial support

· Contacting existing customers by email, text and telephone call to renew contracts and schedule offsite CE classes

· Conducting skills check-offs for BLS blended classes

· Roster management

· Data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems

· Resolving customer complaints or escalating to program directors as appropriate

· Contacting former students by email, text, and telephone to track job placement rates

· Verifying student education

· Maintaining records of customer contacts using HubSpot

· Updating student records in Enrollware/Learning Stream or Orbund

· Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
