The Ecommerce Sales Assistant position is responsible for assisting with administrative support for sales staff allowing for ecommerce growth & providing additional support to key ecommerce accounts. The tasks required include but are not limited to continually assisting sales staff with ecommerce inquiries, promoting a positive relationship between Meyer & ecommerce accounts, & assisting with the expansion & development of ecommerce accounts.

Preferred Experience:

  • Education/certification(s): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3 to 5 or more years of experience in customer/account management &/or sales preferred

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the sale staff with ecommerce related questions & inquires
  • Assist with the consistent communication efforts with key ecommerce accounts
  • Proactively assess & report account opportunities & concerns with leadership
  • Develop a plan & schedule to consistently communicate with ecommerce accounts
  • Gain an understanding of the systems utilized toward ecommerce sales
  • Complete assigned tasks & goals
  • Engage & qualify inbound sales leads
  • Capable of accomplishing tasks with or without instruction
  • Maintain a well-versed knowledge of current products & identify new product/market opportunities
  • Positively represent & promote the company & the objectives of the company
  • Potential for occasional travel, visiting customers & promoting account relationships
