Qualifications: Enthusiastic, experienced educator committed to the implementation of the Early College Program at New Bedford High School. Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution and experience with K-12 age group. Preference will be given to educators with administrative, content or school counselor licensure that speak a second language. Reports to: Curriculum Data and Assessment Manager for Enrichment and Accelerated Programs and New Bedford High School Principal or Designee Start Date/Time Commitment: Start Date: ImmediatelyEnd Date: June 30, 2023 (With opportunity to continue until July 31, 2023)Time Commitment: 19.5 Hours per week.

Hours will be determined based on programmatic needs. Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers, counselors, post-secondary institutions, and non-profit organizations for the implementation of New Bedford High School Early College programCollect, analyze, and monitor student data Attend professional development related to instruction, early college, post-secondary planning, and other instructional related topicsPlan Early College outreach and celebration events for students and familiesCoordinate under direction of Curriculum Data and Assessment Manager the recruitment and marketing of early college pathwaysCoordinate all enrollment procedures under the direction of the Curriculum Data and Assessment ManagerSupport with the development of outfacing Early College procedures and outfacing materials. Accompany students on College Campuses and early college trips when bus transportation is requiredPersonalized and scaffold supports for students in Early College classes based on student needsDevelop personalized student support plansUnder the direction of the CDAM, and school leadership lead Early College exit interviews.Any other additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by the Curriculum Data and Assessment Manager and building administratorTerms of Employment: Part time, non union position. Minimum of 19.5 hours per week.

Rate: $35-$40/hour
