Job Summary: The Early Childhood Coach will design and implement the career pathways necessary for Clear Creek County to support new and existing ECE centers. High school aged students, adults, and both licensed and unlicensed centers will benefit from this work.

Required:

  • Knowledge of early childhood educator licensure requirements and career pathways
  • Willingness to learn & think creatively
  • Strong collaboration skills with diverse groups
  • Articulate communicator
  • Strong project management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools, and/or Google Suite

Desired:

  • Involvement with career development/preparation
  • Experience working with students/youth, particularly high school age and adults
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred
  • Ability to travel overnight to observe highly rated ECE centers
  • Operations experience in an ECE environment
  • Familiarity with the Clear Creek Community and surrounding areas

The Details:

  • Provide leadership for ECE learners in pursuing certifications. This may include guidance with scholarships, internships, practicum placements and hours, transportation assistance, child care assistance while participating in coursework, access to technology and internet.
  • Develop information about certification pathways for early childhood education
  • Recruit, support and assist with training students
  • Develop and participate in an Early Childhood Advisory Cohort
  • Identify access to professional development
  • Collaborate with Red Rocks Community College Child Care Innovations office for support with professional learning for early childhood professionals and caregivers.

Benefits:
This position does not meet the minimum hours required for eligibility of health benefits. This position qualifies for PTO leave which is determined by the position’s assigned work schedule . Clear Creek School District is a public employer and participates in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association plan (PERA). All employees are required by state statute to contribute the current % rate of salary on a pre-tax basis to PERA. The District also contributes, based on current % rates.
