Your Impact:

When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on the greatest challenges the planet faces, including global energy transformation.

Based in the Pacific Northwest and aligned to our Portland or Seattle office, you’ll have the opportunity to support siting and permitting efforts for multiple client sectors (e.g., energy, technology, rail). This includes multiple forms of renewable energy capital projects. The focus of the role is to support the technical development/authorship of permit applications with a focus on local land use and state level project applications. In addition, the Early Career Project Planner will have the opportunity to support a variety of environmentally focused permits. This is an opportunity to accelerate your growth and be mentored and trained to be a lead planner for capital project regulatory clearance.

Jacobs supports work from home and flexible schedules; being regularly present within a Jacobs office is not mandatory.

At Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other.
