Driver Program Aide--- Provides Transportation/care and supervision for adults who are developmentally disabled and/or fragile. Works under the direction of transportation and Program Supervisor. .

SUMMARY of Duties:

This position is for Class C drivers to transport individuals with developmental disabilities. During downtime, the employee assists as a program aide.

Some of the major duties include but are not limited to:

* Pick-up and Drive back adults with disabilities from home to program and back to their home, while in program monitor and supervise clients to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

* Attend to the clients, while in program with hygiene and self-care needs if they are unable to do so themselves.

*While in program work with individual clients towards meeting the objectives set forth on the Individual Plan of Care.

* Assist during meal time to ensure client is able to consume meal provided.

*Assist with the process of arrival and departure of clients.

*In program interact with and engage clients during their daily activities.

* Assist C.N.A. aide with the day to day programming in the classroom.

*Inform program supervisor of any issues or concerns with the clients care or Supervision.

*Complete any required documentation or progress notes as directed by supervisor.

* Offer assistance to fellow co-workers in the supervision of clients and in completing activities of daily living.

*When assigned to OUTING, provide extreme supervision of client at all times, as well as attend to client’s hygiene and meal time needs.

*Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Supervisor.

Split Shift Position.

Requirements:

Possess an active Class Class B, Current H6 DMV Printout

21 years of age with good driving record

Possess a current First/Aid CPR certification

All new hires are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID

Follow all company policies and procedures

Pay range: $17.50--$18.10 per hour but may increase based on city/state minimum wage requirements.
