Position Overview

We have a wonderful Full-Time opportunity to join our Evoke Wellness Florida Operations team as a Driver. The Driver is responsible for providing transportation services primarily for clients to and from assigned destinations in a safe and timely manner. Assist in the proper maintenance of all vehicles and vehicle maintenance log to ensure maximum vehicle safety

Position Responsibilities

• Drive patients to and from the airport, appointments, etc
• Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.
• Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
• Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program. Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.
• Be pleasant, tactful, and courteous to patients, visitors, staff, and contactors.

Position Requirements

• MUST have a clean driving record- no tickets, at-fault accidents, or suspensions in the last 3 calendar years
• Detail oriented
• Be self-sufficient with minimal direction
• Prolonged periods of sitting and walking with frequent pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Ability to be discreet and respect the privacy of clients.

Education & Work Experience

• Experience a plus, but not necessary
• Bi-lingual a preferred, but not necessary

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with some weekends and after hours work required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to be driving a vehicle 90% of the time

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of Addiction and 12 Step Recovery Program
• Valid Driver’s license
