This position will be located onsite at a globally recognized O&G operator in Beaumont, TX. To succeed in this role you must be able to work closely and collaboratively with Design and Drafting Team.

About the Position:

• Responsible for walking down existing P&IDs or Isometrics and either verify existing drawings are correct or field redline existing drawings.
• Digitally correct redline drawings in AutoCad.
• Unit field visits and climbing heights will be expected

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Be in good standing with NASAP
• Must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer
• Proficient with AutoCAD for drawing creating
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for daily inter-office communication and documentation
• Possess knowledge of industry standards including ASME and API, preferred.

Education and Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of experience working in a refinery or chemical plant and/or with a consulting firm representing similar industries.

Physical Requirements:

• Outside work often requires moderate physical exertion including climbing scaffolding, kneeling, bending, taking field measurements and walking projects
• Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, still toed shoes, or other equipment as required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
