Perfect Entry Level Position starting at $20.00/ hour + $3.00 shift differential
The Door Assembler is responsible for all stages of the door and drawer front assembly process. You will be assigned to various machines to help create the doors to the Dura Standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lays out door and drawer front component parts in sequential job order checking parts for size errors or defects in material.
- Inserts rubber barrels in each stile and rail and applies glue to parts per set gluing procedure standards.
- Verifies squareness of press at a minimum of three times daily.
- Operates press verifying inserts are centered and two pin nails are used on each door and one rail on each drawer joint.
- Removes excess glue from door and drawer fronts, then applies putty to the back of doors in the nail holes.

- High School education or up to one month related training or experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
